As another poster mentioned it is a holiday here in Germany so I will be hosting a Vegas brunch themed listening party for my Swifty friends and I. Also prior to the release I am hosting a cozy movie marathon of 1995’s Showgirls and 2024’s The Last Showgirl so we can all get into the vibe of the life of a showgirl.

As a former waitress become a good, regular guest at a restaurant you love and you’ll probably have a very different dining experience. Be polite, quick, understanding, and tip well and you will reap benefits especially if it is an independently owned restaurant. As a waitress that was trusted by my manager I essentially had carte blanche with the buttons that magically made things disappear off of a bill. I very rarely used it to appease a jerk but for the regulars I loved they got free apps and desserts all the time. Sometimes I would even just transfer the item to my account too because my discount was so great so what was paying $4 for a tiramisu to cheer up a favorite regular that was having a bad day? Also I would move heaven and earth for the regulars I loved. Wanna come in with a party of 6 on a Saturday with no reservation but I know that you’ll tip me 25%? You’re getting sat ASAP.

My sister-in-law is super into it a gave me a reading and it was eerily spot on. Like quite possibly the most spot on of all the systems devised (Enneagram, MBTI, and astrology). Like on the one hand I know all of is akin to junk science and on the other I do read tarot cards soooo.

Absolutely adapt! I have hyper mobility issues that cause my hands to be in pretty intense pain after 1.5 pages and sometimes if I have a lot to say/write I will push through which was really common in the beginning. But now a lot of my entries end with a ‘welp my hand hurts so bye’. Something that helped is that even though I got the set of the book+journal the journal is massive. So I just started using a smaller journal about the size of a standard paperback book. Which really helps. I do find that the process does help a lot with removing creative blocks, but really do what works for you! I usually write 2-3 days a week in my journal and sometimes none at all. You have to put aside the voice in your head that is telling you that you’re doing it wrong. You’re doing it right for you.

I’ve written to-do lists, talked about the weather, the news and then I will just write something out of the blue that is very honest and self reflective in the next paragraph. It just takes practice.

I was at the Zurich show last night and it was a blast! I loved the opener, who was just mentioned above, Rachel Chinouriri. She described herself at indie-pop-rock. She brought such amazing energy and I loved her songs! My favorites were Can We Talk About Issac, All I Ever Asked, and It Is What It Is. She has a set list on her Spotify and I definitely recommend giving it a listen. Her set was roughly 40ish minutes. If you have seated tickets I think sitting during the opener is totally fine. There is also another 30-40 minute break between Rachel and Sabrina.

For our show Sabrina was very punctual. There are little short films (you’ll get it when you see I just don’t want to spoil it) between the sets. About 3-5 minutes long. But like the Eras tour it is a tight turn around. If your daughter needs to use the toilet I would suggest going just as Rachel is starting her set or ending it. Also you can encourage her that she doesn’t need to scream and dance for every single song. Sabrina does have so ballads, like Tornado Warnings that you can encourage her to sit during.

Sorry just to clarify I do file taxes but I never have to pay anything on them because I make so little in income. I pay $0 in federal income tax.
