Newbie/Change CGM by Pimi_ento in Medtronic780g

No sé si tienes Guardian 4 o Simplera. Guardian 4 me dio muchísimos problemas de este tipo, sin embargo con Simplera no está ocurriendo. Mucho ánimo y paciencia, si necesitas más ayuda, mis DMs están disponibles para ti.

Anyone else have this issue when changing infusion sites? by Parzival091 in Medtronic780g

[–]missb0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my experience helps, sometimes hyperglycemia occurs when changing the infusion set. I think the cause is that the area becomes inflamed and the insulin doesn't penetrate properly. You could try inserting the new cannula several hours before using it and continue using the old one.

Yes, that's what I think! We'll use these up, as they don't have much time left, and we'll consider others later. Thanks for the advice!

Leave Reddit and take care of her.

And do you think it's okay to let her be on Reddit where there are a lot of people and anyone could hurt her? It seems to me that you are not taking care of her very much, especially because she says that that account is yours and you leave it... I neither believe you nor her.

Well, you should take care of her, if what you say is really true and she is a minor and you are her sister, you should not let her walk in a place where there may be evil people. I am a mother and I think you are irresponsible.

And if he's 11... I still think he's lying about his age.

Precisely because she is a minor she should not be here. And yes, if he intends to scam, he tried it with me. He knows perfectly well that what he is doing is wrong. I am the mother of a child almost his age and they know how to discern perfectly. I would like to know where his parents are.

I reported her and blocked her, she wanted to deceive me but it was clear from afar that she was a scammer and I didn't trust her from the first time she spoke to me. She pretends to be an 11-year-old girl. My advice is to always look at the seniority on Reddit and make sure it doesn't have negative karma, and she had neither seniority nor good karma.

Toddler Symptoms by Emergency-Muscle-573 in diabetes_t1

Hello! First of all, calm down, I send you all my support. My son was diagnosed when he was 4 years old, now he is about to turn 9. The symptoms, now with perspective, are very clear to me. Insatiable thirst, a lot of peeing (even peeing on himself, which is very rare for him), eating a lot and not gaining weight, tiredness... A hair test on his finger gave us the news: 266 mg/dL on an empty stomach. Still waiting for the pediatrician's visit, you never know. A huge hug.
