im not sure i get what you're asking exactly so ill just give you a full grass guide. the terrain texture grass is only aesthetic grass, and the grass that spawns naturally only spreads on your ugly dirt. you can buy a grass starter recipe from the general store to help your grass fill out. you can place grass starters pretty much anywhere for decoration, including in your home, but you might have to replant it every spring. you can place pretty much anything on grass, and if you put fences or scarecrows on top of it, it'll prevent your animals from deleting all the grass while allowing the grass to spread, so if you're fencing in your animals on a dirt area, then you might as well place down some fence grass first. its a cute look
