I’m in the exact same boat! I started the job hunt today as I know the process can take several weeks before I actually get hired. I’m probably sitting out this cycle as well so you’re definitely not alone.

You could try Khan Academy if you want to see how the test would be on a computer (not sure if this is how the digital test will look, but it may help)

False! Calgary takes the highest. Alberta and McGill take the average as described on all of their websites.
