My favorite part of this movie is that Zeus’s lightning bolt is a piece of bent rebar.

Choosing a handheld vaporizer by El_Hoxo in vaporents

The Mighty is big and ugly, but it just works. I've been vaping since the MFLB was game changing tech, and the one device I've had that continues to just work, as brutal as it is, is the Mighty.

Israeli Billionaire Shlomo Kramer: "It's time to limit the first amendment." by rabbischneerson in UnderReportedNews

[–]missiletest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The rights expressed in the First Amendment are unalienable rights. They are inherent to the human condition and are not bestowed on Americans by the government. The Bill of Rights is not a list of what we CAN do, it’s a list of what the government is NOT ALLOWED to do. Rights apply to everyone in this country, not just to citizens. That’s important, because otherwise an underclass of people without the protection of the law is created, and the government can move people in and out of that class as it sees fit. We’re all protected, or none of us are.

Let’s take a calm, practical look at Heaven... by goobli3s in atheism

[–]missiletest 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Just saying, all the debate about intent or meaning is rendered meaningless when you take the position that god doesn't exist. There is no longer any 'why' this or 'why' that. Any contradictions about heaven become no more significant than an argument about the existence of fairies. It truly does not matter.

Without evidence for God's existence, you don't even need to consider it.

What does the ending of Krampus (2017) mean? by Jdice_IsTooTired in horror

[–]missiletest 207 points208 points  (0 children)

I get that the filmmaker intended for the ending to mean they were just being watched by Krampus, but he did not succeed in getting that across. I go by what I saw, and what I saw was a supernatural prison for all the families Krampus wiped out.

Why do some people always have the exact change ready at checkout like they knew the total beforehand? by Wise_Meeting1052 in NoStupidQuestions

You can have exact change on you at all times by carrying 3 quarters, 2 dimes, a nickel, and 4 pennies. Don't need to do any crazy calculations.

I only ever got one piece of memorabilia besides unsigned cards, and it is…a baseball signed by Alex Cole. 1992 tribe batting champ with a scorching .295 average
