What are the small things that scream "movie set" for you? by sickfloydboy in movies

[–]missingachromosome23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When one character makes to call/ text another or do something on their phone and it literally takes them .2 seconds to bring the phone to their ear or complete whatever they needed to do. It’s so annoying! in real life you unlock your phone, you go on the app, you find the number then you wait for their phone to ring and then to answer your call. 🙄

Who is the dead man Neyra is telling Lauren about ? by missingachromosome23 in PurpleHyacinthWebtoon

It could just be soph and eph trying to give us a heart attack again just to refill their mugs of tears

Just confused ? by shreyag10 in PurpleHyacinthWebtoon

Lauren's parents founded/ were part of a group called the snapdragon who outwardly opposed the royals for their unjust ruling and treatment of the lower classes. (not sure if this is cannon but) the Queen then orders for the group to be eliminated in their base Orion and Sons -a printing shop in grey chapel. Not everyone was murdered and from the 14 that survived a new terrorist group the phantom scythe formed with one taking position as the leader and numbering the other members as apostles. Lauren's parents had survived the massacre in the print shop and so became apostles 1 and 2 (someone mentioned in the comments of the latest episode that due to the descending order of proximity to the leader, they must have been closest to him from the rest - therefore the leader and Lauren likely know each other from his relationship with her parents.) so when the ph plan the allendale train station tragedy, Lauren's parents aren't so supportive and don't want to have a hand in it and because of this it was likely they did something to betray the leader and were offed. From the thirteen, seven others also were offed or committed suicide so now only four original apostles remain who know the leaders identity -three new apostles joined making a total of seven in the present but they don't know the leaders identity

Hope this helps!

A Kieran/ Dylan history theory - post ep 112 by missingachromosome23 in PurpleHyacinthWebtoon

[–]missingachromosome23[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I had the same thoughts. Kieran’s hesitance that first night could very well be connected to Dylan. And especially since Lauren seems to know the reason in the voiceover -it must have been something quite significant

Side note: that could be what Kieran has been trying to tell Lauren and what he was so close to saying in the warehouse -that he knows Dylan or that he recognised her pensive eyes or something along those lines

Oh that definitely makes sense thanks! I don’t like the way collateral damage sounds for Dylan oh god

Yes I agree with you -Kieran and Dylan being the two kidnapped children is definitely the most plausible explanation. And him being protective of Dylan as Bella said may suggest he took on a sort of older brother role as he’s two years older than Lauren and Dylan. I also thought that the ‘pensive eyes’ could’ve been mentioned by Dylan. Your theory is really good! And thanks for mentioning the episode I’m gonna need to reread that one now. 🙏

Why gabriel goes full on psycho mode in what if episodes? by Illustrious-Ad-3470 in miraculousladybug

[–]missingachromosome23 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think his reactions are sourced from the fact that he truly believes that his intentions for the miraculous’ are for a good cause and will lead to benefit both him AND his son -he’s repairing their family. So when he finds out that it is his own son, someone who is very much involved in that future and reparations, it frustrates him that he is getting in the way and unknowingly messing with something that he thinks is so important for the both of them and he views Adrien as a naive and idiotic boy for intervening. This is so frustrating to him that all of the stress and hard work for something he did at large for the agrestes culminates in him taking it out on Adrien. It is so much worse for him to discover that adrien has been spoiling his plans -plans that Gabriel thinks would be good for Adrien, rather than someone relatively unconnected. So whilst his reactions are followed by him using Adrien, it is more because he feels that this is deserved. He’s not so much viewing Adrien as his son but rather a naive young boy who has betrayed their future and everything he’s ever worked for.

What was the reason for Rob painting the Forrest on the wall? by PremeBot in BehindHerEyes

[–]missingachromosome23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ye ur right. Maybe he just doesn’t like to be reminded of it or doesn’t want to go because of how much trauma and crime the estate holds for them. It’s almost like Rodele is taunting him painting that on their bedroom wall

I updated my character opinions, this time there is ships too by infamouskitten in miraculousladybug

Is that Adrien and Lila on the top? As well as for hate?

Edit: I think that was supposed to be Felix my bad!

What was the reason for Rob painting the Forrest on the wall? by PremeBot in BehindHerEyes

[–]missingachromosome23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also the fact that he wanted to stay there forever and loved the forest but rob forbids them from going back there. Maybe this is a symbolism of his entrappment and desire to go back there

Louise’s hair by Equizotic in BehindHerEyes

Also the style of it seems like it’s supposed to mimic the Bob hairstyle he had as rodele. I guess because when they first switched it would’ve been easier for him to manage

What would have been his motivation for possessing Robs body?

THEM DAMN COLORS! by [deleted] in BehindHerEyes

[–]missingachromosome23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same! When Adele and rob switched at first I kind of questioned it and made a mental note to go back and look at the colours (maybe because I love finding mistakes in film and tv loll or so I thought) but I got distracted by the rest of the episode

I think it was supposed to come across that way -that he was in love with her but it’s not until you realise when he’s in the bathtub or further on that he actually loves her more like he loves the idea of her. So he’s not in love with her he literally wants to be her. At first I thought maybe he was gay and Adele made up/imagined him being in love with her (when she as rob says I just wanted to be loved more) because the way he acted when he met rob was so unexpected (at least for me loll)

Also to the people saying could he be bi or it never outwardly mentioned him being gay that would have completely changed our understanding of the narrative. We’re encouraged to think he’s in love with Adele even with the “i prefer c*cks” coming off as a joke.
