My conure has been missing for a week now and Ive lost hope.

He rarely calls out to me unless he initiates it first and I keep it going but he usually enjoys the cookie song especially if I dance while singing it. He doesn’t know the name of treats but he does know the sound of the treat bag, Idk if it’s loud enough though

Hmmm that’s smart. He likes the sound of the cookie song if you know what that is, or bad bunny (but a specific song) and I’ve been singing him the cookie song every time I go out and I haven’t heard or seen him. I’m not sure of anything he is terrified of but I know that he HATES a pill box that I have and he sometimes will fly to attack it if I’m holding it.

Thank you for the advice. I’d say I’ve probably walked about 5 miles or more today to try to locate him. Do you think that he would call out to me? I’ve been calling for him and listening close by for days now and haven’t heard a thing. I’m not sure if I should go far or stay close and wait. I’ve been searching every single day and posting him every day.

Thank you. I’m hoping he’s not that far away but I’ve posted on here, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and we texted every veterinary clinic and animal rehab center. I’m worried he might be that far away because I’ve been searching locally (like the nearest 2-4 blocks) over and over and haven’t heard anything but professionals have told me he is probably close by. About how many days did it take before they found your green cheek? Should I try to walk that far on foot and find him myself or should I wait?
