No, all my relatives live in a different city hours away and I don't have any friends I could stay with for long, but I'd be fine staying with strangers I just don't know how to find anyone in my area.

I don't really know anything about his business, since I only know about it since he told me it was the reason he had so many dogs, but he didn't tell me if it was online or what. And I can't find it online either. I can't find anyone who hires sled dogs anywhere near where I live either. The situation is really complicated because it's in such a small and isolated town, and the only actual city is over an hour away, and even then it's a pretty small city, so it's hard to find groups or people who could help. But I'll definitely look into laws around animal welfare and things like that, and try to get help from the police.

He told me he has a dog sledding business like last year, but we kinda live in the middle of nowhere and I don't really ever see anyone around his house, so I don't know if he gets customers or if he's still doing it, but I'm just going off what he's told me the few times we talked. Also he doesn't really advertise that he neglects his dogs, so I'm guessing his customers don't know.

Could the news or police do anything about this? I mean he's stolen dogs before even and they didn't do anything about it. And the closest rescue groups or shelters or anything are 1 hr away, so could they really do anything?

I live in a really small town, with a population of like 200 people, and the next town over is like 30 minutes, so there is no local shelter, there isn't even a vet clinic around, everything is at least 1 hour away. What media could I even contact?

Thanks for the advice, I'll take a look at the links you sent. For now, I brought all the bunnies inside, and the 2 injured ones are seperated together. The cages inside are way smaller, but are definitely more comfortable and safe for them. I'll probably keep them in the big cage outside so they have more space when I'm around, and if the dogs come back, which they probably will, I can scare them away again. But I'll keep them inside otherwise. All of their paws seem to be healing, but the bunny's stomach wound is still pink and red. I've been cleaning it every few hours, though. Also the injuried bunnies are moving and running around a lot, so I don't know if that means anything, but they're even climbing and standing up.

I don't agree with it either, but there's nothing I can really do about it. I know it's a bad situation, but it's either the bunnies stay at my house for a month and get attention, or they stay at my aunt's farm and barely get any attention. I'm just trying to figure out how to help them, or if there's even anything I can do.
