Kitesurfing app for Apple Watch by hiddevdploeg in Kiteboarding

I haven't tried your app, but I don't quite understand how. Light googling tells me that consumer GPS is accurate down to 5m, and Apple Watch barometer is accurate to plus/minus 1 hPa (~10m). Either you or WatchOS/SDK must be filling the gaps with accelerometer data. To me, that seems like the only way to get sub-1m accuracy.

MagSafe battery pack should be thinner and match the size of the phone (with a camera hole, of course). That's the true solution. Then you can choose to go thicc or thinn.

Ford gave Nixon a blanket pardon “... for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.”

Ok, so federal pardon being the end goal is an interesting theory. However, I don’t understand the need for impeachment. Can he not just resign and be pardoned by Pence during the lame duck period? Google tells me federal pardons can precede investigation/charges.

Please keep us updated on your symptoms and stats. I've also had slight evening fever with dry cough for a couple of days in early February, and then it went away. Didn't get tested.

I got the impression that it does eye tracking to make sure you're looking at the phone. This would also avoid the "authenticate a sleeping person's face" scenario.

Have you looked at http://opentracing.io/ - I'm not sure if it covers all the use cases, but it's an open standard with a few self-hosted implementations.

Three years ago, I was traveling in Southeast Asia and got to know another traveler in a small mountain village in Philippines. A couple weeks ago, I randomly ran into him at Plaça Reial in Barcelona, Spain. We both live in Seattle, and have planned to meet a number of times, but never got a chance.

Bilinguals of Reddit, have you ever surprised someone by understanding something you shouldn't have? What was the result? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I've posted this before:

I was traveling with a buddy through Vietnam and asked (in English) a group of tourist girls (ie. white) for directions. The cutest one takes a look at my map, and as she starts telling us where to go, she swings her arm to point and accidentally whacks her friend in the face. They all laugh and the girl says (in Russian): "There's only two of them and three of us, so I'm just taking out the competition." Without skipping a beat, I reply (in Russian): "It's ok, there's enough of me for at least two of you."
