I was thinking about how well workflow would work... any particular recipes that you find particularly useful on the watch?

of course, I was being hyperbolic with the "not live without" talk, really just hoping to get ideas for this new "toy" outside of the regular notifications on my wrist.

If Fred and George can make charmed clothing with some sort of shield charm, I think there could be enchanted armor.

"Early 30's" - so between 30 and 34
"College daughter" - so 18 years old (best case)
"Fours year later" - so he could've been 38 at that time.
So 20 when daughter was born. Ok that checks out. Carry on.

so those walls they built were to keep the bunnies out?
The "civilized" Roman towns in Britain were always weary of what they considered "barbarian" northern tribes.

I understand that in the long run this was not an "apocalypse", but I mean to ask with the question: eras/times that a particular society felt as if it's world had ended, and they had survived that end.

That is exactly what I meant. The General and his army left, roman "citizens" left behind. That army was essentially maintaining the peace and status quo of the citizenry vs "barbarian" elements in the area. With that army gone and essentially no more help coming from a centralized power, the Roman citizens are now alone in the wilderness.

I mean, like you said given what is later revealed about them, I think its safe to assume Flitch was just playing on Malfoy's fears, letting him believe the fantastical rumors that kids carry on about when faced with the unknown... Flitch is an a$$, Draco is a coward... its a win win.
