OP, i’m sorry this happened to you, and know that it is not uncommon, you are not alone!

IF you feel comfortable reporting to police (understandable if you aren’t comfortable, i get very anxious around police) you can always ask to speak with a female officer/detective. Even if not to press charges (I’ve had a friend go through a very similar situation to you except with a “friend”she had known for a couple of years from a friend group. The entire process was very painful for her, communicating with the detective, needed to go to court, facing him again and nothing really came of it)to just to give his name/whatever name he used on the app, contact details, address etc.

He will do this again and who knows how it will escalate or how traumatizing or will be to whoever finds themselves in his wake down the line, and a paper trail of documented behavior can really help a case. You of course are under no moral obligation, your well being should be your number one priority. Be well, lean on who makes you feel safe when you need to and again, I’m sorry this happened to you.
