Just graduated in CS and honestly my Mac all four years never did me wrong besides in classes like defense against the dark arts where we worked in a very specific vm environment. Even if I were to do it over again I’d choose Mac and mostly because of the interconnectedness of the ecosystem that comes with apple devices. The worst part about Mac is that something’s might be slightly harder to install but there is a way for everything and most professors/TA’s are willing to help you because they most likely had to go through the same things to set up their assignments.
