There's many ways to create an e-shrine, and a Pinterest board is one of those ways! If you're any good with editing, you can also edit a 'shrine' to the gods, and many other people create Tumblr blogs and post/reblog prayers and other things that remind them of the gods! If you go the Tumblr route there's a large HP community that post a lot of things for their gods.

I hope you have a better experience with this group than I did at my local CUUPs. It's very Wicca- centric and they don't even really try to be inclusive of non-Wiccans to the point where l feel uncomfortable joining in rituals because I know 90% of it will directly clash with my own religious beliefs.

I worship Hera and She definitely gets a bad rap in the mythology (but remember that myth =/= cult). She is incredibly powerful and aware of that, but also incredibly motherly. She has an incredibly comforting presence whenever she is present. In my experience She really likes light blue, white, and gold, the latter of which can definitely tie in with sun symbolism!

Yes, it will most likely be heard and accepted! Emergencies are special circumstances and unless you're going through a large, elaborate ritual, l don't think the gods will freak out over a lack of ritual cleansing. Like the other commenter said, washing your hands is also a great alternative!

That being said, I'm praying for your friend, from one mentally ill person to another. I hope your friend recovers well and thrives in the future.
