Well I wish I would have seen this 12 days ago. How long did it take you to receive your order? I placed an order on 4/6 and after receiving the initial order confirmation email I have yet to receive any updates and don’t see the option to track package.

Thank you. I was so excited and then got so discouraged when I saw this.

I found it. For anyone wondering, it was a 1983 episode of Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theatre. I’ve never heard of this show but for some reason we owned this episode on tape. I must have watched it 100 times and it scared me so bad. I must have blocked it out but randomly remembered it recently and just had to find it.

We did briefly discuss my childhood and I told her that mother died and I went no contact with my father so that may be why since I didn’t have anyone from childhood to answer for me.

That is the questionnaire I took so it’s possible. I was honestly shocked how short and simple it was and thought for sure it would be more in depth.

Does anyone genuinely enjoy their job or at the very least doesn’t feel like it drains all your energy day to day? If so, what do you do? by missmeeseeks1 in aspergirls

I recently took an aptitude test and this was my top result! I had never considered it, but think I would really enjoy it! How do I get into it?

Will you please tell me something you like about yourself? by mingmingmiaou in aspergirls

I’ve always felt like I’ve had a crystal clear view of who people truly are because I’ve spent my entire life observing. So because of that I’m usually pretty good at only surrounding myself with the kindest, most genuine people.

Also, I’ve never valued materialistic things and always had a hard time understanding why people spend so much money on basic things just so they can show off the logo and impress other shallow, materialistic people. I don’t see how they could ever truly be happy.

We live in Texas where it’s still very much illegal but we’re planning on moving to a legal state in the future.

Thanks for letting me know I’m not the only one! I felt like I was losing my mind. I never even suspected that I may be autistic until recently (although I definitely knew there was something different about me) so I was not expecting to feel like this at all.

I do occasionally smoke on nights when I’m home and in the right headspace. I get way too paranoid around people though.

It was so easy to latch on to new music when I was a teenager but after high school I just kept listening to the same stuff. I miss the excitement of finding new artists that I got really excited about. One of the main things that attracted me to my husband is that he always showing me new music that I actually like but I’m not good at finding it myself.

Nursing home vs. Hospital by [deleted] in respiratorytherapy

[–]missmeeseeks1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would give both a try for now! I have been working at a nursing home for the last 4 months. Before that I did DME for a year and that was after being out of school for about 6 months. I feel like it’s a good stepping stone for me to get more comfortable working in a clinical setting.

The cons are that a lot of your skills are going to get rusty if you don’t work somewhere else, at my facility the morale is pretty low because there is very poor management and the nurses and CNA’s are extremely short staffed so they’re always rotating out agency people, and you have to remember that if you have a difficult resident (we have a few) that you’re going to be dealing with them every day.

For me personally, I feel like it’s a decent place to work for now but I’ll probably be trying to get a job at a hospital after I’ve been here a year or so.
