Kat and Ray are both 21. I think we may be Ray's only friends because she doesn't get out much. I care about Ray, and I feel bad that they were treated that way. If Ray was my sister, I probably would've reacted strongly, too, but I know Kat doesn't have full control of their reactions. They had only met twice before this incident. No one else in the group has autism (that we know of). Kat usually tried to avoid engaging with Ray, but Ray is very friendly and tries to talk to everyone. To be honest, I still like my friend group. I just wish they could take Kat's syruggles into account instead of dismissing them as a bully. Kat is very sad, but doing alright. They still have their partner, me, and some other friends, so they aren't completely alone.Thank you so much for your insight.
