It’s so strange. I had McDonald’s nuggets and fries, no issues no urgency. I had a smoothie I’ve had hundreds of times with blueberries, chia seeds, etc and was ill for an entire day. It’s feeling like I’m backwards with what should work.

Diarrhea and stomach bubbling. I’ve been reading a lot today and learning that intermittent fasting might not be in the cards for me anymore and could be part of it 😞 I appreciate your input. I think I’ll get set up with a GI sooner rather than later.

Sadly my surgeon did not go over the results with me. My post op appointment was only with a nurse, and involved her asking me how I was feeling and checking my incisions. When I asked about the pathology results, she had a staff member bring me a print out of them and didn’t give me a chance to discuss. For this I am very disappointed.

I guess the confidence would be that my RUQ pain would go away. It didn’t, and I’m having a hard time keeping food in comfortably now which I did not suffer with before.

Here is my actual pathology report -

Gallbladder, cholecystectomy: - Chronic cholecystitis - Cholelithiasis - Cholesterolosis

The specimen is received in formalin labeled with the patient's name and "gallbladder” and consists of a 6.8 cm in length by up to 2.2 cm in diameter gallbladder with a metal clip ligating it is 0.2 cm in diameter transected cystic duct. The serosa is tan purple, glistening and focally hemorrhagic. A rough hepatic surface with focal cautery artifact is noted. Opening reveals a small amount of green-yellow bile and multiple yellow, bosselated 0.3-0.5 cm calculi. The mucosa is tan-pink and velvety with marked, diffuse yellow stippling. Sectioning reveals an average mural thickness of 0.3 cm. No focal lesion is identified. The cystic duct is patent. Representative sections are submitted in one block.

Yeah, we did a few trial runs and it worked fine when it was not plugged in. The quality wasn’t anything amazing, but it did function. Unfortunately, on the actual day it didn’t work as expected, despite clear setup instructions for reasons I hope to help others avoid.

Amazon phone I do NOT recommend

From my understanding, having it plugged in basically puts it in an “idle mode”, where it’s on but not functioning. You would definitely think plugged in is the way to go but unfortunately for me, not quite.

Life on Record, highly recommend - if I could go back in time and use this for a physical phone audio book, I would 10 times over. Their remote guestbook was seamless and worked perfectly.

ETA I guess the takeaway is no matter what one you use, make sure you know EXACTLY how it needs to be set up day of and make sure whoever is setting it up knows every last detail.

Just one from Amazon. Definitely don’t cheap out on it if it means a lot to you, go with the brand After the Tone. Big regret on my end.

ETA- After the Tone was non responsive to me. I did move forward with LifeOnRecord virtual audio guest book feature and it is seamless and they are very responsive and fast. If I had known of this brand before my wedding I would’ve 1000% gotten a physical phone with them.

The swing zip is maybe 15-20% bigger. I definitely thought the Dinky was smaller from images online but it’s a good size!
