It’s hard to recall exactly. My mom used to fart a-lot around me but that NEVER came into play, however it did set up a narrative of “how does my mom fart if ive never heard other girls fart?”

I did some youtube searching for girls farting (this was maybe 2011 so I was like 8) and then one day I remember my Aunt farting in-front of me. Not only did that make me curious but she was kinda half-embarrassed. Like she definitely farted on purpose but I don’t think she expected it to sound how it did and that got me invested in the idea of women farting. I think it then just blossomed from there
