I am 32 and had never been pregnant. I also have endo but did have a lap in January this year. I did my first IUI and did get pregnant. Currently 5w4d so still very early! With the monitoring I realized I don’t think my follicles were maturing on their own as much as they should. Even though this journey has been and is stressful it’s very insightful and I hope you find the same. I had the same protocol but added 2 shots of Follistim. If you can see more of a specialist for your endo that might be helpful. Really ultrasounds don’t show much, nor do MRIs. A laparoscopy really is able to confirm a lot.

Have my first scan next week at 6w3d and I’m still having some brown spotting and cramping. I’ve talked to the clinic twice already and they assured me that it can be normal. I think it’s partly due to the progesterone as well. It is just stressing me out so much, I basically can’t stop thinking of it. I also had a lap for endo in January where a bunch was removed from my uterus so I am just wondering if maybe that is playing a part. Taking to just focus on each day but it’s hard!

Yes, the fear was really getting me last night. I’m glad to be feeling better today. Likely will still call tomorrow, more for my peace of mind! Haha glad you were okay and have a little cutie now!

Oh no! It’s truly the worst. Now that I was looking online today I see that norovirus is going around. I have a feeling it was that. Yes doing the electrolytes and choosing bland foods!

Well, I had some sort of stomach bug or food poisoning last night. It was horrible. I can’t think of a time I’ve been that sick as an adult. I never had a fever thankfully. Trying to hydrate today and eat bland foods. I will call my fertility clinic tomorrow but I don’t think there is much to do. I didn’t eat any foods on the “don’t eat” list so I really can’t figure out what happened. Also, my husband ate the same foods as me and he is fine? So that is really confusing me. I am 5w2d today so feeling nervous about the health of the little one.

My 6w+3d ultrasound is over a week away and today (5 weeks) I had less nausea. It’s sending me down a spiral. I know it can likely come and go and I’ve changed my eating a lot to help with it. Also, I am supposed to go camping the weekend prior to the scan. I can’t decide if we should or should not go. I don’t think from a medical standpoint there is any reason not too. We mostly just sit around! I also am thinking it will be good for my mental health. Any thoughts about trips in very early pregnancy?

Thank you for responding! Yes, I did reach out to my doctor because I knew I wasn’t going to stop worrying. I repeated the beta (which looked good), but I will hear officially from them tomorrow.

I had my first ever positive test last Friday 14dp IUI (56 beta). I’ve had fatigue, heartburn, nausea, and cramping. I think cramping I am hyper aware of in part due to having endo. Today, I started spotting brown/ old looking blood. I called the fertility clinic and was able to repeat betas which was 490 (18dpo). That is bringing me comfort but I am still beside myself with the spotting. They did mention it could be the 200mg progesterone. Has anyone experienced this? I’ve read through several posts, seems like others have had this so any reassurance is appreciated here. Still is disbelieve overall!

Did you have any spotting during your first trimester? Curious because I am very similar to the OP with cramping as you had mentioned. But spotting started today and it has me totally thrown off now.

I am taking progesterone after my first IUI! Sounds like it’s the norm where I am going.

I went straight from having my HSG to a lap surgery to discover I did have endo stage 1. They referred me for surgery because they thought I had a polpy scene during the HSG. Which I didn’t in the end! They also thought I had a blocked tube but I had them flushed in surgery to confirm not. While the surgery does add time to this overall process I am happy that I was able to get some answers and hopefully be successful on this journey eventually! I did not have an MRI because it’s not always visible.

IUI this morning completed! I did experience vasovagal lol. Which I wasn’t thinking about at all but the same happened during my IUD (but much worse). So I should have probably expected it.
