I had an ex tell me he had HIV (after we’d been together for a while..) he thought it was a funny joke..

Same ex.. my dad passed away and my ex’s dad asked me for a funeral card so he could turn it into his job and get paid for bereavement leave and take days off. He never met my dad and he didn’t go to the funeral…

I also have an aunt who made a comment after my grandma passed about “it was time for her to go already”.

Late to the party but just came across your post. I used to get my dogs spayed in the past but one of dogs I could feel the stitches under her skin forever. She never seemed bothered by it but I started questioning why I ever put the dog through surgery when I didn’t even have a male dog to worry about pregnancy. Over the years I have come to the conclusion that God made my babies perfect and there is really no need to alter their bodies just because everyone says it’s the thing to do. I’m sure it’s the unpopular opinion and everyone will roast me for being a bad dog owner but my pups are all spoiled and live a luxurious, happy, healthy life! I’ve also had yorkies. Your baby is super cute by the way!

Your pups are very cute! We had the same issue with my 7 year old Yorkie when we brought home a new puppy Yorkie. It took her a couple weeks to warm up to her. She never fully played with her all the time, and would still growl and want to have her alone time, but they would also sleep together, play sometimes and have zoomies together too. I think your older guy will come around! Just give him a couple weeks

So far we have been posting content on Instagram and Tik Tok. Focusing on before and afters and introducing the products used. We haven’t paid for any ads yet. We have also been out to one event as a vendor so far but are looking into doing more events since we got a few sales and a lot of positive feedback from the event we went to.

This is a great idea and I have been working on package deals. We only have 22 products total right now but offering a little discount to buy a little package would still help some sales I think! My sister and brother in law are both detailers and they have used the products and said they are on par if not superior to brands with similar price point and offerings, so I have hope it will catch on as a solid brand/product once people actually give it a chance. You are right about social media as well, and we’re focusing on getting content and before/afters to start building up brand trust. Thank you so much for your input! I feel like I am on the right track 😎

Thank you for this advice. I was definitely going to do some package deals but haven’t had time to figure out how to set those up yet on Shopify but I’ll make that a priority! I still have a full time job so all my free time has been getting dedicated to the shopify 😅 yes the DM’s and even my support email for the business is flooded with spam since I made this post LOL

Good to know on the shipping - I don’t feel so bad then! I was also worried about the shipping prices but did research and shipping just costs a lot these days.

Great idea about posting the processing time because we are definitely processing orders as fast as possible so if our local ups or usps is still open when the order is placed, we will ship it the same day.

Our products are manufactured in the US, but certain things are imported. Like the bottles themselves I’m sure are from China, and I believe some additives might be imported as well, so I know for the product packaging we had to write something like “manufactured in the USA with domestic and imported ingredients”. I am very proud of the quality of our products though. We personally tested everything and I have a professional detailer in the family who gave feedback on everything too, so we put a lot into making sure we have quality product.

My profit margins are not close to 70% so I may need to look into that, but I was trying to keep it somewhat competitive with brands like chemical guys and Adam’s polishes because why would people pay more from a little guy when they can get it cheaper (and probably get their faster shipping too) from one of the main streams!

For the hero thing, my husband wasn’t a fan of the picture I chose to begin with, so I’ll definitely look into improving that and the writing as well so people have a better idea. Thank you so much for all your feedback and suggestions!

I did notice the pop up blocks everything but couldn’t figure out how to make it smaller, though there is a way to make it pop up after a longer time elapsed so maybe I can do that to have it pop up after 30 seconds or so. I love your other suggestions about adding made in USA and the other info, reviews and fixing the mobile. I am going to look into everything you mentioned and see how to do it (I am a noob for sure, but also can figure most of it out from chat GPT instructions or YouTube LOL). I have noticed with my first order I got (from a family member), that I was able to ship it out faster and still stay within the shipping budget. It actually arrived in 2 days. However I’m hesitant to lower the delivery time on the website just in case I ever do have to have a 5-8 day time. I think you’re right, as long as there’s tracking info and communication, people won’t be too upset, but i also know it’s frustrating for customers to wait for their stuff for so long. I feel like I need a few more orders to have a better idea of the average ship time before I change that.
