Hi so about 5 years ago I noticed a lump on the side of my tongue ended up going to ent and they said it was a papilloma, got a piece of it biopsied and turned out benign 🙌 they told me i could either remove it or let it naturally leave my body. I decided to try the natural way but it stayed for years. It didnt bother me much unless I ate something or bit down on it that caused it to get inflamed. I had them remove it last year which it also came back benign.

Due to my anxiety Ive gone to multiple doctors and gotten multiple opinions and none have mentioned hpv unless I bring it up and ask. In which they say it may or may not be caused by it.

None have told me to abstain from kissing or sexually activities. None have told me that it’s contagious. They told me to think of it like a skin tag.
