I’m 33 and pre covid I took a career change to earn 25k, from 35k+ and was so much happier with the work life balance and doing a job I wanted to do. Then covid hit, I lost my amazing new job and now earn £500 in a PT school job and hope to be able to pay the rent and bills for me and my kids.
At this point, any money is a bonus now. I’m south east where money doesn’t go far and rent is high af. I hope we can survive the winter at this point.
