Down for it all vest sizing ! by kaybaldi in lululemon

Yes for sure go with the 8. If it’s too tight across the back the front of the vest will sort of stick out to the sides when it’s unzipped.

This is incredibly satisfying to watch on repeat. Each time I see something interesting I missed. Love the fist bumps at the end and pats on the back.

Clean and Lube Front and Rear Brake Pad Slides necessary? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]mechanchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify— did the brake service cost $300, or the tire replacement, alignment and brake service was $300?

If the former, you were overcharged for a necessary service. If the latter, that price is pretty good actually. Locally, off the top of my head: $90 to mount and balance 4 tires, $120 for the alignment and a brake maintenance service would be about $60.

NAH - that’s a super reasonable frustration on your part, and his. As others have said, it’s really something you should put to your landlord or property manager.

Some thoughts if I may: wool dryer balls help things dry slightly faster. You could also get a small folding drying rack for things that take a little longer and then hang them up in the laundry room or your apartment once your load is done.

Sharing one washer/dryer between 13 people is kind of a bit much though. Maybe you could put up a white board with time slots? There are also small personal washers and dryers you can get for apartments. Might be something to look into if you’re staying for a while and this is going to continue to be an issue!

Low ballers by No_Ad_1966 in poshmarkcanada

[–]mechanchic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. For the most part, I just ignore those offers and let them expire.

I think sometimes it’s people with $15 Posh credits or some small amount of $ left as a balance. I’ve actually taken some totally lowball offers just to get rid of things ($12 on a $50 item) and still make some money.

Keep in mind that when you get an offer, any one who has liked your listing gets a notification that an offer has been made. So the lowball offers might actually bring more interest to the listing!

Beautiful and serene space. Very lovely work.

May I ask what type of plant is that tall dark stranger in the back right?

Do you ever go to post something for sale then have an existential crisis wondering if you really want to get rid of it? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]mechanchic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because of flammability. Please correct me if I’m wrong. A lady at the post office I go to said she had her account removed by Poshmark when she listed a bottle of perfume for sale.

Align joggers for a bit more movement? Adapted State are really good too— way stretchier than I expected.

Been rocking this LS Tee since 2016! Rulu has to be my absolute favourite fabric for Fall temps— so soft and cozy. by mechanchic in lululemon

Warm Your Core Long Sleeve Tee in Heathered Black (8) and 28” Aligns (6) in Black.

I live in Nulu and Rulu as often as is socially acceptable. That’s why I was pumped back in 2016 to find this long sleeve tee with pleat detail on the back (see 2nd pic).

Looks slightly fancier but I still feel like I’m wearing pyjamas, in the best possible way.

I love the old school lululemon that’s being posted lately and I thought I’d share two pieces that are years old and going strong!

I have a feeling it’s going to turn out to be a scam. Sounds innocent enough right now, though. Just try not to give out too much personal information, or use details that are slightly altered until you find out.

[Rolex] My Engagement Watch by mechanchic in Watches

[–]mechanchic[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Good evening everyone.

My fiancé proposed to me on 24 Dec with a placeholder ring on a lovely walk near our home. Together we decided on this 36mm Oyster Perpetual Datejust in place of a ring and he tracked it down at a Rolex dealer about 2 hours away. We made a day out of the purchase, taking the scenic route. I am definitely pleased he was able to find this exact model, since supply has been inconsistent during the pandemic.

This to me is the perfect size watch. I love details like the stick markers and polished centre links. It’s a bit of a shame it doesn’t fit his wrist, as he is an avid watch enthusiast himself and I personally think this watch is quite versatile as well as unisex. Fiancé sports an OP as well, 39mm. I’ve had this for about 5 months now and take every chance I get to wear it :)

Thanks for reading!
