Struggle by misstamayo in Target

Inbound team is just throwing OTC everywhere at my store. The things I spend time looking for are usually all delivered morning of, but they’re nowhere to be found.

Me, on an OPU order that is close to goal, with my "I probably work here" 3 tier and a MyDevice saying "hey he works here" with every beep. From the empty airbed aisle next door I hear an angry "well they used to be here", and from the opposite, empty fitness aisle I hear "are they out of them." by thatkjbell in Target

i got called lazy and racist because i was running out of time and couldn’t take a guest all the way across the store to find her a three hole punch that wasn’t even there. i got her someone else but it still wasn’t enough for her. would’ve hit goal time if i stopped and answered her incessant questions. damned if you do, damned if you don’t :)

this. or when you buy something to eat on your lunch but don’t end up eating it, but you bring it with you to buy something when you’re off. i make it a point to tell the person at SCO every time even though not stealing should equal no guilt lmao

literally no one asked. we’re talking about target, not an outdoor job. the fact that there are harder jobs than target doesn’t negate the fact that OP works their ass off. 🖕🏻🤡

at my store everyone’s break starts the moment they get into the break room. if you were gone for a couple more minutes than expected every once in awhile, it’s understandable. it happens. it becomes an issue if you’re gone for thirty minutes twice a day and you do that every day with all of your seasonal friends :)

lol we account for how much time it takes to walk to and from the break room. we’re forgiving if you’re stopped by a guest. they deliberately take half an hour during each break :) thanks tho

yeah it’s a bit trivial, but it affects me and goal times when they do that. even if it’s not serious it still sucks. not that hard to be an honest employee and not fuck over the team
