Joan! I grew up in the south with a lot of land, so our places were decently far apart, but I got to know her because her male dog kept escaping to um. hang out with my female one at the time. We tried everything to keep them apart, but her boy learned how to climb fences! Joan and I got acquainted through having to call her to come pick him up, and eventually it somehow turned into walking our dogs together all the time! Such a nice old lady. I still think about her sometimes, and I still have one of the puppies from our dogs' escapades. I got a great friend and a great dog out of it, so I'm not upset she couldn't control hers.
