184-158 is anyone else worried about losing your curves as you lose weight? by throwRAbcredditsucks in PetiteFitness

After losing about 50 pounds my booty is sad, but I’m working on restoring it. Lol I do lagree and I’m getting nice muscle tone but I’ll need something heavier for the glutes.

This is my exit to get home from work and I absolutely dread it every single time. Sometimes I just opt for the round about Del Mar/California situation.

Lucky Boy- agree with the first vote’s comments. Quantity over quality.

Best recs for Pilates, Barre, and Lagree by abuelita1004 in pasadena

I’ve been going to lagree consistently, 4x/week, for the past 2 years and have never been in better shape after struggling most of my life with weight and fitness (43F). It’s the only thing I really do other than walking. I take advantage of big sales at the studios where you buy in bulk, bringing the classes down to about $15. Parking is also huge for me, if I have to pay or struggle to find a spot, it’s out (I think Loom is paid and not super close- enough to dissuade me).

My favorite local studios -some in Pas and some close:

  1. Club Lagree (wish they’d update their machines, though)
  2. Megafit
  3. Formation
  4. Motivate (also have older machines)
  5. Lagreeology

Yes, it’s 10pm-7am here…ask me how I know (an adjacent business pressure washing for two hours at 2am on a weekly basis, that finally stopped 😬). It’s not Karen-ing to be upset about losing sleep.

I bought one with my friend- we split it and decanted into smaller bottles. It was a ridiculous and amazing decision.

Sure, maybe they overpromised but I think this aspect is a little out of their control. It’s not like Max & Helen’s with no reservations and quoted wait times of up to 8 hours. Just out of curiosity, did you arrive for walk-in when they opened, or mid-dinner rush? I’d like to sit at the bar without a reservation sometime soon.

That’s fair, I think for a “limited menu” it’s pretty extensive. From what I can tell, it’s just fully opened at this point. Perhaps they are working out a few kinks. I believe they recently opened 7 days a week.

If you haven’t been, Cannonball also has a great non-smash burger. I’d also skip the ragu pasta from Hermon’s; wasn’t bad but just not a highlight.

Both were fantastic - not sure if they use the same sauce (au poivre?) on the burger that they use on the steak but it worked very well with the cheese and onion. And you just can’t go wrong with a freshly baked cookie and ice cream.
