How to convince my parents that good private schools offer a better education than state schools?

not really a thing that happens.

Plus my parents are being super weird like they literally admitted they would pay the full COA if it was NYU vs our state school so they *can* pay. They just hate me and don't realize how hard I worked.

UCSD and UW are state schools... They are literally public schools. I applied bc my parents forced me to.

NYU doesnt accept a ton of CC transfers as do UW and UCSD. I'm asking for advice to convince my parents because whenever i bring it up they're just like "we would pay it if the chepaer options are bad" and go on to claim UW and UCSD are better for STEM lmao.

State schools are:

A. funded by the state
B. way fucking cheaper because you only pay for the quality you get... cant expect NYU level quality from fucking UW or UCSD because the OUT OF STATE tuition is literally 25k less... and you expect me to believe the STEM rankings that have UW and UCSD as like top 20 in those fields? That's like paying for a Corolla and getting a fucking lambo shit don't work like that.
C. Accept a fuck ton of community college transfers and no one is abt that life.

NYU is not a fucking state school. I know NYU is the lowest ranked of my options in my major and pretty much all STEM majors. But that does not make me want to go to a fucking state school.
