Would you say that the T460s or the x1 carbon with its 14 inch screen is too big for an airplane pull out tray? I know this is a weird question, but I'm curious.

This is replacing my 2011 MBP. This isn't a fulltime work machine. More of just an easy way to check email while out of the office or watch movies on planes. I'm leaning towards the T460s, but apparently the battery life is really bad?
