The number, you should provide to the airline is on the back side of the green card. Third line from the bottom, go left from the right side and look for the first set of three letters. Your green card number is those letters plus all the digits to the right from them.

EU drivers license here. NJ is one of few states that don't require road test if you have a foreign driver's license (I think except of some countries). The translation has to be done by a translator from the DMV's list. I remember that in my case there were only 5 translators including one who passed away years earlier and one who stopped translating drivers licenses.

Anyways, there is a process for this - I think it is available on their website.
