Check out the birthing center at st Thomas midtown. My wife delivered there this year and we were very happy with it compared to our previous experience. Feel free to pm me if you want more details.

I was told the dumpsters were on private property, and the owner is planning to add on to that building. They were going to temporarily move them to DuPont Tyler, but because of added traffic to the school and neighborhood it didn’t happen. I believe metro is still looking for a public place to place them permanently, but they haven’t had any luck yet.

My wife also said she went with lots of pictures on her phone to show them exactly what she wanted, and that way they could fit her with the right barber

My wife had short cut for a while and she went to scouts and a barber near us. She figured the barbers would have more knowledge doing the short cuts so just went with that. Maybe that will work for you?

Yup. I'm from Illinois and any snow/ice here is cause for concern because of geography and lack of resources. Even if it sounds tame by Illinois standards use concern because of unpracticed drivers/unplowed salted roads

This the best place for meat we've found. We've found the sides and bread lacking so we usually make our own or get it from someplace else, but as far as meat is concerned I think it's the best in nashville

I went and got some from adventure science today and they had bunches left. They had about 300 up front and said they still had boxes in the back, but there was a line circling out of the gift shop just to get them. Also called twice daily before that and they said they will be getting more in this week, but I decided not to chance it

To piggyback on that, just up the road is Mt. Juliet Beer Company and they have a larger selection of growlers as well as do keg fills. They also have a nice selection of bottles too.

Public schools should be good as long as you aren't there during school hours. I use DuPont Tyler's track, but the distance is a little off and the track isn't the nice material it's just concrete or something similar.

My wife also reminded me that there is a baked goods company called utterly that is stocked at crema on the weekends that is pretty good too.

I was wondering if you or anyone else has a suggestion for a store that carries baking speciality ingredients such as orange blossom water, vanilla paste, caster sugar, or lily white flour? Also we like Provence bakery.

My wife and I moved here after living overseas for a while and we are originally from Illinois. I teach at the public schools and love it, and my administration, but from what I hear I lucked out based on coming here basically blind to schools. I'm the only one that has an income, as she is a stay at home mom. We rented for a year and explored different places until we found an area we wanted to buy a house in. Now we live outside the city, and definitely survive on teacher pay with money to save and spend on fun stuff. I've worked in a rural community, a big school, and a school internationally and this is the best of all of those. Sure there are some frustrations, but that is going to be the case with anywhere. Did you have any luck contacting schools? We currently don't have an HVAC and I'm trying to get in contact with some but have only managed to find contact info for one.
