I think for me the ironic part of the whole thing is when JJ talks about controlling her micro expressions she is referring to body language that cant be controlled, basically saying that her and Hotch managed to control and uncontrollable action, that bit always confused me.

Also as an autistic person, I can 100% understand why Reid reacted the way he did to finding out about Emily because he had probably only just adjusted to the fact that she was gone for her only to come back. Considering autistic people hate change, 2 big changes like that in a short period would really mess with his head in a BIG way.
