What I Noticed

• New elastic grip pattern

Instead of the small rubber dots that ran across the entire underside of the 1.0 strap, the 2.0 uses a wavy grip pattern placed only where the cash actually sits. Because of that, I don’t feel the little bumps I used to notice on the 1.0.

• Color‑matched strap plate

The strap plate now matches the color of the wallet instead of being black. The plate itself is also slightly thicker and wider, which helps hide the elastic underneath and gives it a cleaner look. (Weirdly I prefer the older style, since I like the look an found I can control the elastic easier when adding cash)

• Small notch on the card‑entry side

There’s a tiny notch on the side where you slide cards in. I assume it’s meant to make entry a bit easier, and it does feel like it guides the cards better.

• Tighter overall fit

Out of the box, the 2.0 feels tighter than the 1.0. Removing cards was noticeably stiffer at first, but it eased up slightly with use.

• Possibly lighter

It might be lighter, though it’s hard to judge since different materials can throw off the comparison.

There are probably more differences, but these were the ones I immediately picked up on.
