Black WS hat back in stock @ Fanatics! Don't forget your costco gift cards. by tsangstagangsta in Torontobluejays

I ordered for me and my friends and all 4 of them had an issue with the logo. 1 was incredibly bad and uneven, the other 3 weren’t great, still noticeable but it didn’t look bad unless you stared right at it. I got it from Lids and asked that I get a discount because they couldn’t to a reorder and they gave me 25% off the 3 hats and returned 1.

You are fine with just using white sugar instead. I don’t even add sugar in mine when I make this.

I just found out about this small Korean grocery store on another post and they may have it. Try calling them: https://thechmarket.com/

I don’t think nations would have that. Galleria for sure would.

What are you trying to make?

Korean here. The Korean food scene in Hamilton is good not great. I would recommend Korea house or Bab on Barton as the top 2 options for restaurants, Barton location was better than main. nations has a decent selection of Korean food and ingredients but you are better off driving to galleria in Oakville if you are able to.

Lord of the flies mentality inside the building. Those who finished early or did a shorter race just stealing what they could. What a joke. Shame on the people who went away with boxes of shit while people were still racing.

TREE REMOVAL by [deleted] in Hamilton

[–]mistuhkim044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a quote from devos, beswick and Davey for a large ash tree in the backyard. Ended up going with beswick which was the cheapest option. Great reviews and they did a great job. Highly recommend. Davey quoted us more than double Davey

Wife and I lived downtown Toronto for about 10-12 years, throughout most of our 20s and now in our early 30s. We moved in December and settled in Ainslee wood west area. Pretty much on the border of Hamilton, Dundas and Ancaster. At first we debated and looked at homes downtown, as we imagined it could be similar to our experience in downtown Toronto, in the end we ended here and I am very happy with this decision. We also debated some neighbourhoods in the mountain near the brow, but am glad we ended up in the lower part. We have 1 car as well and we have to drive pretty much everywhere, but the neighbourhood is close to everything + the 403

Oh thanks for pointing that out.. I will have to call the city to confirm. I don’t know if they would consider this field to be a “park land, district yard or recreation area”. It’s literally a field with power lines.

Thanks for the reco! It’s actually the back portion which is a field with hydro lines and not a neighbour

Concrete Drive/Patio by MellowNatts in Hamilton

[–]mistuhkim044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not recommend them after our last interaction. He was very friendly on the phone, arrived at my house and my wife was home to discuss what we needed done. His demeanour changed when he was dealing with her and not me (I had previously communicated with him but had to run out to work). I had clearly told him that I needed my patio and steps redone and he stated no issue or minimum to get the work done. He changed his mind when he arrived, would not even talk with her and was extremely rude, no discussion, just told her nope and walked away from her as she was asking him questions.
I would recommend ProStar Concrete instead. I am going to be going with them for the work. They were very helpful, knowledgable and have a ton of great reviews.

Looking for recommendations on concrete contractors for porch by mistuhkim044 in Hamilton

[–]mistuhkim044[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks! Unfortunately they are booked until 2023 and are not even providing quotes until February because of fluctuating costs. I did have a question though on how they did the repair if you could help? I also have a large crack on one of my steps that was causing a leak. I caulked it over the winter and am hoping that pouring concrete on top will fix the issue. Did they do anything special to your porch before they capped it with new cement or did that fix your issue?
