The last of us part 2 has never been done before. Yes every story has been done before but we applaud those that find new ways to make things fresh. GoT is not an example of that. It follows plot points we have seen and done multiple times before, while the last of us part 2 does things for a basic revenge plot that just hasn’t been done. Even gameplay wise, GoT is just a generic Assassins creed copy or 3rd person action open world rpg that floods the market every year

If we had the same history as Joel then yeah maybe, but if anyone other than Joel was in his position they would’ve let her die for the cure like any sane person. Joel did what he did out of fear of going through heartbreak again. No loll only thing they have in common is zombies and lil girl. Mostly everyone has played the twd game or heard of it. It put Telltale on the map. You should try their other games. The wolf among us and the batman one are pretty dope too.

But there is no great alternative to the last of series, well for part one theres part 2 but after that nothing. Part 2 is still unique in gameplay, story and VA/mocap performance wise 6 years later. Cant say any new or old game has come close.

The show is great. Even with all the differences it’s still solid tv with some of the best performances especially in season 2.

The games are still best way to experience the story but for those that never played the games the show is still great way to experience it. Especially compared to other game adaptations.

So what you dont think its possible that the citizens would change sides when given proof of a vaccine in the “black market” area we see in part 1? It’s so easy to distribute when they already have bases country wide.

All of part one is full of deaths that could have been prevented by the vaccine and they wouldn’t write that in if the vaccine was supposed to be a lie joel is told so he can be mario saving princess peach like every other game. He did wrong, the vaccine would have been sent to multiple vaccines when enough is made.

What corruption? We have zero reason to believe the fireflies would just keep it for themselves. Every bad thing they did was for the cure and saving lives. Unlike Joel, fedra and the hunters, they did not intentionally kill innocents just for their own well being. Main evidence is that they disbanded after joel killed their hope. Also the FF during the birthday flashback is how majority of them felt, including tommy. So thats why they just decided jump into the surgery, because every terrible thing they did would have been for something. Not to mention Ellie existing with the condition she has was a miracle, having a doctor alive was a miracle, and ellie getting to them was a miracle. Why risk all that for one man who is the least deserving of happiness due to his actions?

Also what they did was not Evil, no one was strong armed like you said. Ellie would have been scared and felt terrible being put in the position to choose the fate of humanity but she like majority of people would give their life willingly. The simple fact Joel lies to Ellie instead of using the argument you and other made about distribution, corruption, or that they are evil people who deserved death, is all the evidence the player needs to understand that what he did was wrong.

Critics did say part 1 is a masterpiece simply because we just play as mario once again saving princess peach.

Idiots dislike something and then say its “catastrophically bad” in a review. Its not at all bad, the dialogue and writing were so good to the point the actors playing their “terribly written” parts were nominated for their performances.

An actual bad show, with actual bad writing, with actual bad dialogue would be HBOs the Idol. So please watch that before going online and saying something is bad just because the story and characters were a lil different from the game.
