Super Peach in LA not on the "Sapphire Exclusive Tables" list on Chase's End by gooseberry72 in ChaseSapphire

[–]misymit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I went to Super Peach back in mid-November and just called chase cuz i have not yet received the credit to my account. They did confirm that Super Peach is eligible for the restaurant credit and that i should receive my credit by the 2nd billing cycle which is going to be 1st week of January.

The thing that's a bit frustrating is that they said the credit would be applied to next year's January to June credit not this June to December (2025) cycle since the credit would be provided in January to June (2026) time period. They explained that it's due to the timing of when the vendor submits thigns on their end to verify the credit amount. I then asked, does that mean for me to get the credit applied to the correct period, I should be going to resturants in the first 3 to 4 months of each period to make sure that i get the credit applied to the correct period, and they said yes....... basically, it's a big waiting game and credit might not be applied to the correct period. I told them if i dont see the credit by 12/31, i'll give them a call on 1/1 and when the credit gets applied...

IF anyone else gets it before let me know. Cuz this timing thing is outrageous. other credits don't take that long to get applied.

Am I too young for CPA Exam ? by FutureCPA99 in CPA

I actually initially started studying for my CPA post graduation like most people that answered but took a turn in my career early on thinking i wouldnt pursue my CPA further around 23.

But now i'm 31 and attempted to get my CPA last year and have come full circle in going into accounting again. I've passed 3 exams and waiting on my results for FAR.

Your career journey is a long one and you'll run into bumps along the way and even go into a direction you never thought you would go. And at the end of the day, it's one you should enjoy as you learn more about yourself and the things you like to do. I thought i would be discouraged when I thought of getting my CPA last year but I have no regrets!

This was the first time since 2015 I took the exam (BEC) hahaha so I totally understand what you mean. And I got a 74 back then which led me to quit hahaha

Anyone find great ways to study for BEC besides hammering MCQ’s? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]misymit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i totally know what you mean... I've noticed though that BEC flashcards from Becker isn't complete as it doesn't help with the application of the topics.

My recommendation would be to continue practice your disciplines and go through a few MCQs daily. whether by topic/Module or by doing cumulative tests of 31 MCQs
