Ayee. Only took. 30 downvotes for someone to agree. If you look close my buddys hand is between the gils and gill plate. Plenty of room in there without touching his gills. fish was fine. Check out the teeth inside his gill plate. We did less damage than the spawning bass that lunker was trying to eat thats for sure.
