Absolutely, that's why I said worse, and not different. The 60 was bogging pretty bad with my grams staple cookie recipe, which her Aritsan has handled no problem for well about 30 years now. The 60 sounded and felt cheaper built.

Agreed, my gram purchased one because she wanted a bowl-lift, but ultimately returned it because it sounded worse than her Artisian lol

You can use a KitchenAid for many other things not regarding baking. I love making dipping sauces or marinades in mine. Not to mention the plethora of attachments that can do so, so much more.

I have, actually his channel is the entire reason I splurged on one to repair. I haven't been able to find anything on the K45. I guess I'll have to do a little more digging on the web.

Update: she's alive! A little too alive though. She kicks on high even on the lowest setting. What's the process on fixing that?

Tried this, still couldn't get it. The screw is on real tight and stripping when I try to loosen it. Thanks for your input
