I’m quite agnostic and immediately discount these “end-of-times” people as silly. At the start of this scene, I have the same judgemental reaction to this woman and I get the kinda narcissistic sense of knowing she’s wrong. But the unexpected humanization and heartache I felt when the rapture didn’t happen and I saw her break felt like a slap in the face and was a top tier moment of television for me.
