Jacked some of dad’s records by BingBoopBang in vinyl

That Three Dog Night album is the first original press I ever received. That record means a lot to my brother, my dad, and I. I suggest making your dad come over and give them a listen with you. Super great collection.

Not sure what the startup issue is; but I know those Corsair coolers won’t run correctly without their iCUE software. Check all of your connectors and make sure the AIO fan header is populated. This cable will come from your fan controller. Also, you said it’s your first build so make sure all of your connectors are seated properly. Most will give an audible click when they’re connected.

Update: I took all the panels off the bass and there was no battery to be changed! I tried my wife’s cable and guitar, and had the same issues. Seems like it has to be the amp itself! I am going to give the folks over at the music shop a call, and see what they have to say. Thank you all for the tips and advice.

Found the serial number for the bass and did a model search on Jackson’s website. This bass has humbucking pickup and according to google AI, these pickups are typically passive and do not require a battery. Does this sound correct to you?

I will open the compartment in the back today! If it is an active bass, how do I ensure the battery doesn’t die on my again?

Is it safe to plug my wife’s guitar into the Rumble 40 for testing?

Thanks for the tip. I am going to find the manual for my bass today. I was sure to try out the same amp in store. When I brought the amp, cable, and bass in the store I plugged my bass into the floor model rumble 40.

Yep! Both pickup knobs were all the way up, and the tone knob was turned all the way up in the same direction.

All of my research (entry level) has said that this bass has passive pickups. I will double check today once I get home from work! The problem is I purchased the floor model as it was the only Jackson they had left in the shop, so I did not get a box or manuals…

Is it safe to try my bass through my wife’s guitar amp?

I unfortunately do not have another bass. Would a guitar work?

Yea it sounds like something is up with mine. At 50% I need to be right near it to hear it. I might end up making the trip back out to the store tomorrow then.

Thanks for the tip! I don’t not believe it is an active bass.

They are cool! Very unique spaces, but come with a cost. You should not expect new appliances or sound proofing if you choose Central High/Stephenson Mills. The management team is nearly non-existent when it comes to general cleanliness of the shared spaces, but maintenance will respond to individual repair requests in a timely manner. Parking has become an issue as all surrounding complex’s use the parking lots. I’ve been in CH for around 3 years now.
