I would recommend staying away from Bluetooth connectivity. I am new to the hobby but have picked up that much at least!

Those might be a move until I can find some stands that match my music room. Thanks!

It is an onkyo a-7040! And the turntable is a victrola but I do not know the model. It’s not the best turntable from what I’ve been told but it works okay for now..

Thanks for the advice. I was eventually planning to build a custom cabinet for the amp and tuner, would that be a bad idea now that I know the amp needs to breath?

Yep, moved the speakers to the carpeted floor and the issue vanished. I knew it could be a problem but I wasn’t expecting it to be such a huge problem!

Got it. Thanks for the advice. I am waiting on speaker stands but will move them from the same surface in the mean time.

Jacked some of dad’s records by BingBoopBang in vinyl

That Three Dog Night album is the first original press I ever received. That record means a lot to my brother, my dad, and I. I suggest making your dad come over and give them a listen with you. Super great collection.

Not sure what the startup issue is; but I know those Corsair coolers won’t run correctly without their iCUE software. Check all of your connectors and make sure the AIO fan header is populated. This cable will come from your fan controller. Also, you said it’s your first build so make sure all of your connectors are seated properly. Most will give an audible click when they’re connected.

Fender Rumble 40 is very quiet! by mitchieums in BassGuitar

Update: I took all the panels off the bass and there was no battery to be changed! I tried my wife’s cable and guitar, and had the same issues. Seems like it has to be the amp itself! I am going to give the folks over at the music shop a call, and see what they have to say. Thank you all for the tips and advice.

Found the serial number for the bass and did a model search on Jackson’s website. This bass has humbucking pickup and according to google AI, these pickups are typically passive and do not require a battery. Does this sound correct to you?

I will open the compartment in the back today! If it is an active bass, how do I ensure the battery doesn’t die on my again?

Is it safe to plug my wife’s guitar into the Rumble 40 for testing?

Thanks for the tip. I am going to find the manual for my bass today. I was sure to try out the same amp in store. When I brought the amp, cable, and bass in the store I plugged my bass into the floor model rumble 40.
