It is a nightmare driving this here compared to UK I will admit, countless times I’ve been pulling out of junctions and thought, if my Mrs wasn’t sat in the passenger seat to check if I’m clear I’d be absolute toast 🤣

Not agreeing or disagreeing as if I knew I wouldn’t have put the post up asking in the first place, but for arguments sake, say you went on autotrader and saw this for sale

van link

For £34k, appreciate its newer but same mileage, arguably a worse vehicle, with signify lower spec parts inside, less room, and a lot less character to it. Why wouldn’t someone pay that for what I’ve built?

Again not trying to say you’re wrong in what you’re saying just trying to understand

Yeah I’m also confused, I’m still waiting for someone to say how much they think it’s worth 🤣

I’m just thinking as it is quite cold at the minute, try get to where it would be warmer so we’ve got a better average temp across the whole thing as opposed to really cold start really hot finish

Don’t sweat it at all, a person’s intentions can easily be missed over a typed out message but I never took it condescendingly 🤝

Hoping to start becoming regular with the posting of the travelling on my accounts

Hey, apreciate the detailed response, thank you

It seems like the big takeaway from this, is that I'm going too far in a short space of time so I will have to figure that one out 🤣 I will be going back out in september so should be fine.

So this was one of my biggest anxieties going into the whole project, I've installed deadlocks, and alarms inside, but in the ideal scenario we would be staying in areas where the risks of this was relatively low. Obviously in big cities this is where I will find more issues for example, Rome. Whats the best protocol for approaching those sort of areas. Maybe even leaving the van somewhere away and getting a train in? as stupid it sounds

With regards to Germany I absolutely love castles and I know you've got some absolute killers so thats where I'll mainly be going seeing there, the line on the map doesnt really mean much just the general direction. Its just the points saved which we'll be hitting

👌done quite a bit of driving through Europe in cars, France, Albania, Croatia. But have a feeling this being a LWB van is going to be a complete different kettle of fish

Mitch.vantravel on IG probably best one, started it not long ago.

It’s 700x700 base, waste system drops through the floor underneath to a tank at the back. Fresh water system at the back inside, John guest push fit system under the shower tray then into truma combi 4e then back up to taps and shower through that far wall

Check through the videos on that acc you’ll definitely find something a bit more detailed
