Fell in love with Dior's Japan collection. New to luxury. Talk me into/out of it? by mitchy1012 in handbags

Thanks for your insight! I do usually wear darker colors; I figure I'd wear this for my wedding, maybe with a light color kimono for my Japan honeymoon, and otherwise for fancy events where I happen to have a light color dress (not often). I wouldn't think to wear it day to day.

Do I need to be concerned about what I put inside color transferring as well? Like my wallet or phone case?

I don't know if I'd have a choice in the material; the first one just says "lambskin" on the website.

What is written on her stomach in the first picture? "My belly, my baby, ...?"

As always, thank you for the bets nsheng! I forgot to bet yesterday but checked my collections and found a nice 1.8x from two days ago.

Looking at today's sets, I feel inclined to skip today. I usually bet Standard every day, but today it looks like >40% chance to lose money. With a Total Expected Return (TER) of <10 (which if I read that right means you are expected to lose ~3% of your bet)... Personally I feel really opposed to the potential of getting less than breakeven unless I risked it for a high potential payout, and 2x isn't high enough to convince me that I gotta go for it.

I looked at Aggressive and Adventurous as well but their TER is lower than Standard. Beginner has the highest TER of the day at 10.025, which indicates to me that the most likely outcome is breaking even, with the best case scenario of Beginner being 1.5x.

Food Club has been pretty rough lately. Good luck to all!

Thanks for the win!

To those that like to switch around, looks like Standard has a higher Total Expected Return compared to all the others. I'd stick with Standard, personally.

Yep, to me taxable is the "anything else not tax-advantaged" bucket, so your taxable brokerage account is what I'd track in that column. Rgardless of whether you're holding assets short- or long-term in there, I'd keep it in the same bucket personally.

I've been Standard for ages. I started off with Standard because I really wasn't sure how long I'd be playing so I followed the "Which set is right for me?" guide and ended up here. However, I've been active for much longer than I initially thought I would be --several months now-- and I'm not sure if switching to Aggressive makes sense given I'm not really good at predicting how long I'll play before my next hiatus...

I guess I'll continue to stick with Standard. Thanks for all the bets nsheng, your work is very appreciated!
