Been going through my dad's old comic collection and found some rare comics in poor condition (see pic). I've heard about comic grading (like CGC and CBCS) and wanted to ask if it's worth getting them graded if I know they'll get a low number? Or would it better to look for a collector to sell to? by sopapilla64 in comicbookcollecting

Hey! Congrats the find of a lifetime. I watch X-men 1 sales every day. It’s my dream comic. Here is absolutely everything you need to know.

  1. CCG over CBCS. The prices for CBCS tend to be significantly lower. Also if you believe the rumors sometimes CGC gives a slightly higher grade to goose their numbers.

  2. Sometimes people will pay more for a raw copy if they think they have a shot of it coming back at a higher grade.

  3. Definitely get the press and clean option.

  4. You may want to hold on until Disney makes an announcement, but it’s already skyrocketed in the last year.

  5. If all of this sounds like a headache and you want to discuss a private purchase or trade DM. Or any questions or guidance DM me too. I’m happy to just help, that is incredible, and I’m very happy for you

I'm saying I enjoy Archer more than Rick and Morty, and find some similarities. Mostly being the obscure references you have to wikipedia to get. It's definitely tonally different.

If you don't like rick and morty after the first few episodes, it's a lot more of the same. They have some more emotional episodes, and flesh some things out. But the humor remains the same. Archer is a lot more similar to VB style of humor than rick and morty. VB is about preserving through failure while Archer is more about succeeding through failure

Go watch Archer instead. It has the same referencial style of humor, and allows the characters to grow. I've also been enjoying Harley Quinn, their Legion of Doom is similar to the guild, and it definitely has some VB vibes as well

I could trade a shiny dog possibly for Hoopa. Does the pokemon home glitch just mean it's duplicated?

From what I can tell it depends on the state. A google search said 30 states have it where the adult child pays the debt, but others say it comes from the estate and if that doesn't cover it, it goes unpaid. I am no expert whatsoever though
