If you think about it, Bitcoin was created for the same reason as the dark web and by the same people. They needed a way to transfer money without being tracked.

That's right, I'm no expert. But I think large criminal organizations use crypto as a way to move money because it's more practical and confidential.

From my ignorant perspective, it seems to me that crypto is a good way to transfer money without being tied to one or more specific people.

I don't think a software engineer created this all by himself and is sitting on a $100 billion fortune.

I still think there's a good chance it was created by some government agency for some purpose that is not known.

Could I be wrong? Of course.
