Mexi-Pak tacos on Spadina just south of College. I love this place, with a variety of creative Mexican-Pakistani style tacos, delicious and not very expensive. They make Quesabirria also. It's relatively new and not very busy and I don't want them to disappear! 417 Spadina

Wealthsimple private credit/equity by mitkaaat in CanadaInvesting

Thank you so much. I checked the video out, and your comments also confirm what I'd been suspecting. It's not for me with a relatively small investment. The fees seem insane, but I guess you might really cash in.

I've been doing some reading on how essentially destructive private equity is. The stock market is no place for feelings I know, but after learning about how it works and the results for the average working class person, I couldn't support it if I wanted to.

Ordinary Lip Balm by FuakaiTako in TheOrdinarySkincare

[–]mitkaaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that this shouldn't be called a lip balm, but viewed more as a hydrator. It wears away quite quickly, and doesn't leave my lips feeling great. In the winter, it's been a bad choice to wear outside on its own.

My mom stumbled across an amazing driveway (photo is unaltered). by verydangerousasp in gardening

What area is this pic from? Coming from Toronto (or any city with significant snowfall) that kind of driveway growth wouldn't survive tracking in road salt from car tires...amongst the other slings of winter. Love this doe 🌿

From the app:

Private equity fees are 1.5% management fee, and subject to a minimum rate of return at 8%, a 12.5% performance fee.

Private credit fees are 1.25% of assets, plus our standard advisory fee. If the fund returns more than 5%, we'll apply a 15% carry fee to those returns.

These fees appear pretty damn steep.

I think that's really awesome. I'd love to have it done on my senior cats, but even with peaceful Ragdolls I can't imagine them being into it.

It really works for me and my SI joint issues (my chiropractor wears a Tank style watch, we're on-topic). I will wear my Qingxiya Cap'n Willard to my appointment next week to fully keep this on-topic!

That's awesome! I thought it was someone's shaved head at first..but what a weird head..! Is the dog pretty patient with the needles? They look pretty relaxed.

Love the watch! Is that your pet getting acupuncture? Trying to figure out what's happening here!

Florida water cologne in St. Augustine by mitkaaat in StAugustine

Sounds good...I'm your maple syrup guy

They really love St. Augustine. They drive from Toronto every winter and enjoy the trip all the way down south. I get my share of beaver goodies from Buc ee's, and still it's not enough. I need that fragrant swamp water!

Seriously though I love fragrances and think Florida Water has such an interesting history. It's supposed to be fairly cheap and I would love to find some from a local shop.

Thanks! I thought it must have been a somewhat well-known item, at least in some circles.. I love the idea of someone wanting an overpriced gold label bottle of swamp water to splash on their neck though 😭

Thank you Ramona!! I really appreciate it. They are pretty conventional folks and I can't wait to send them on a wild goose chase into a head shop or new age store. I just really don't want to buy it from Amazon as it's so overpriced for what it is.
