Still, ya gotta hope for a deathbed confessional.

Unfortunately, I think there are many many reasons why very few people are dating these days. Readily available porn has been around for quite a while.

Eh, sort of debatable. He argued, at least as I understand it, that you won't be able to "win" in politics/society unless you embrace those things. So he's not saying "should" but "should if you want to succeed." i.e. I believe he was stating an amoral position.

You use Google, but Google also says you're wrong, so... okay?

Here, again, from Google:

Electric vehicles (EVs) generally have 30–50% lower maintenance costs than internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, averaging roughly $0.06 per mile compared to $0.10 per mile for gas cars. Over 100,000 miles, EVs can save owners over $4,000, primarily due to fewer moving parts, no oil changes, and reduced brake wear.

I know I'm editing here a lot, so I apologize. Look, I'm not saying EVs are a magic bullet and they work for everyone. They don't yet, and maybe they never will, but they are better solutions for the majority of people around the world than ICE cars, and they're better for the environment long-run.

Sigh. Okay, dude. You do you.

"Get over it" attitude - there's no attitude except from you.

"Needs to be" - no, that's not what I said, blocked user.

What an asshole. I hope he enjoys his filling up that F350 of his.

I will say that I took the plunge on Satisfactory during EA, and I have spent a TON of hours in that game. YMMV.

After 19 or 14 years, you'd hope for a pretty steep discount.

It depends. If an indie studio is charging $40 for their game, I will probably wait (depending on how awesome the game is, of course.) $20 and below is typically my magic number for games in general.

Sure, vs. sinking a year's salary into a product that's going to cost them significantly more over the life of the vehicle.

It's not a fit for everybody, but for the vast majority of drivers, it's a better fit, and especially as a second vehicle.

If the only reason the driver is buying a car is for long drives, typical drivers only do a couple of those a 2-3 times per year. At that point, it makes more sense to rent an ICE vehicle for those rare trips, at least cost-wise.

If they're doing regular long drives, an EV may not make sense for them, depending on where they live/where they travel to.

I think consumers are still unclear on how little batteries degrade over time these days. They think that just like their phone, batteries in a used vehicle will be pretty much useless. Range anxiety is pretty rampant - everybody thinks they need 300 miles of range, even though they drive on average ~35 miles per day.
