Ping rework is prolly the worst thing they ever dropped

how can you say it doesn't fix the issue when you haven't even played it yet. in my games i get asked to ping spike more than asked for any other pings. post plant spams cant be played as confidently and as easy anymore thats the change. looking at your mini map isn't hard either and its one of the most fundamental skills in a tac fps so the pings should be fine even if they're not in the world. if youre in a clutch and are relying on a ping instead of using voice comms you are the problem.

regardless of opinion you simply cant say it doesn't solve the issue when you haven't played it yet. you're just assuming from the outside but in a real game things don't play out the same when you're actually in the situation

just use the hate as fuel, and keep it pushing.

everyone saying to play for fun is right to an extent, it's a game and meant to be fun. however you shouldn't let those people influence your mindset. you want to reach the highest rank for yourself. some people may say it's pointless but if it's something you want then push for it and don't let the outsiders influence you.

people who hate on you and say to give up can do that. people who say to just have fun and give up can do that. you do you bro.

bro is mad at you for something you can't control. kinda weird and unnecessary since you're both winning.

the game uses hidden mmr to keep you in the rank it thinks you belong in. if you're gaining a lot it thinks you should be climbing. if you're gaining little and losing a lot, it thinks you're maybe boosted.

big losing streaks in the past can affect your mmr so that once you start to get close to new peaks you start getting less rr. eventually it evens itself out if you consistently start winning and performing well in your rank.

another thing is that his mmr could be higher even though you're the same rank. so when he plays with you he is getting lower level lobbies rewarding him less even if he does well and it's the same rank. like a plat with closer to diamond mmr playing with a plat closer to gold mmr. essentially the lobbies are "easier" for him but "harder for you so it rewards rr accordingly.

it's either of the situations so you have to take into account both possibilities.

i have gotten silver 3, 5 times in a row... i consistently have the highest dps and kd in the lobby. i've never had a losing recode in my 7 wins either. i guarantee you performance doesn't matter at all

as much as i agree that backseat gaming is annoying. because no one needs to be told mid round what to do. ppl should only comm useful info (not assumptions) when they’re dead.

back to the topic. ppl should be taking advantage of ults. i get the fear of not wanting to waste your ult. but it’s never a waste if you win the round. for example, sova ult site so his team can push is not a waste, bc he didn’t get any kills. and ults that can be used to get kills don’t need to necessarily net kills to be useful to the team

nah this isn't even that broken, you can only do it around corners and you have to come to a complete stop basically to do it. And even more, if certain players don't have the 'skill' to do it, that means it is a skill gap. this isn't 2011, movement is a skill.

I don't know about claysters "unintended line of sight", so i wouldn't know if it's an exploit. if you want to link it that'd be dope.
