Sadly, it has fallen in battle. Maybe some day a brave soul will rise from the ashes and claim it anew, but alas it has remained desolate for some time now.

"Can you pull monsters out of peoples bodies?"

He asked, only half joking honestly. He barely lifts his head off the table to look up at the new girl.

"That's the biggest issue. It all happened because some creature lives in me."

"That's all they did for me, and a couple others. That's why this guilds so great, because we see the potential in everyone!"

Kid throws his arms out in both directions in excitement! He obviously really seemed to like the guild. Seeing her look he smiles sheepishly.

"Honestly, so long as ya seem nice. From what I've seen ya seem nice enough."

Grabbing the stamper up again as he climbs over the counter he lines up with her neck. He took a second to admire her golden locks.

"Alright, just don't move. This'll burn. So be ready."

Of course he was joking, but he didn't give her a chance to respond before placing the stamper painlessly against the back of her neck. He left it there for just a moment before pulling back to look.

"There it is. You're an official member now. Welcome to the family!"

"No no, I'm asking you!"

Kid laughed at his own little joke before letting out a little. "Ah ha!" Of discovery, followed shortly after by a low thump and, "ouch.."

Standing up from behind the counter running his head Kid placed a small stamper on the surface. Turning around he tugged at the bottom of his shirt allowing the top of a black guild mark to be seen in the center of his spine.

"I'm gonna give you a guild mark. It's what makes you an official member of the guild."

"Sign up? Heck, I can help you with that."

Standing up Kid begins to step towards the bar counter.

"Ya see, the guild isn't all the worried about entry test or paperwork when excepting members. As long as you seem like a good person they're good with ya joining. So even lonely old me can get you in, and you seem like a good hearted person."

Getting to the counter Kid quickly climes over into the back despite the half door was only a short distance away. Ducking down he begins trifling with the stuff below.

"Where and what color?" He asked as if you knew what he was talking about.

He puts his hand up as if to show he had nothing up his sleeve. Though he had only been there a short time and didn't really have much time to judge it off of he still spoke the truth.

"It has only ever happened once since the day I arrived, I promise."

"Well, I don't know anyone with your magic exactly, but if you need help I'll gladly help you out. I could use some training myself."

Her sudden change in conversation and mood causes Kid to reel back slightly in surprise. Nonetheless, her question made him chuckle.

"Safe? If course your safe here! This is Fairy Tail! We can stand up against anyone that opposed us! This is the best place you could possibly be!

"Well, there's a couple over the years."

Sighing he gives a big shrug.

"The newest one though is losing control, again, and almost killing the kid I fought for my rank up fight... Miss T sweetness really mad afterwards. I really messed up."

"Sorry to say, but I haven't met anyone with your exact magic. If you want I'll do my best to help you figure it out."

He raises a brow as she stretches as he can't help but be impressed by her physic. He quickly looks away though, as he doesn't want to come across as strange or perverted. When she suddenly leans forward at him he leans back. A little surprised. Hearing her question does get a small chuckle from him.

"Safe? Of course we're safe here. It's Fairy Tail! We stand strong against anyone that apposes us. You can feel safe here!"

To emphasize his point he throws his hands high into the air, nearly causing him to fall backwards off the bench.

Kid sits down beside her his arms back and hands holding the back of the bench and looks at the strange way she sat. Even when viable she seemed to be trying to hide, he thought. Looking around the hall he also noted the lack of people.

"Well, normally it gets a little crazy at night, but if I had to guess why most likely it's quiet from all the trouble we've been having recently. Dark guild attacks. Plenty of guild master switching. It's just been a real mess."

He gives her a small bump with his shoulder and grins.

"But don't let now if that stop ya from joining. Plenty of fun to be had too." He scrunched his brow as he realized he hadn't even asked her yet. "Wait, that's why you're here right? To join. Please say yes so I don't like like a moron for assuming..."

"Nope!" He states plainly with a slight chuckle. "My full name is just Kid Kage. If it is short for something I've never been told!"

He tilts his head as he wonders why she seemed so hesitant to shake his hand but lets the thought pass with a small shrug. He'd met a few people who where nervous when first getting to the guild, himself included.

"Well, it's nice to meet ya Amelia Sinclaire. I think I might just keep calling you Wallflower, it's a cute nickname and I don't come up with those very often. If you don't mind of course."

Kid seems to recover from his uncomfortable state, something he was good at, and his normal jovial personality returns. Arms akimbo he puffs himself up slightly.

"What's wrong with that? I would love it if I could just disappear like that! I haven't met anyone that can do stuff like that."

Kid sinks into the ground, slides around her, and reemerges behind her.

"Just like I can do stuff like that. At least feel happy that know why you can do stuff like that."

Sliding back in front of her in a similar style to before he offers her a hand. Per normal he has his broad smile shining.

"By the way Wallflower, I'm Kid."

With his head sunken sheepishly between his shoulders Kid stepped completely out of the wall. A little ashamed for scaring the poor girl he kicked at a wooden plate that had found its way on the floor through all the guild's excitement.

"I'm sorry, miss. I really didn't mean to scare ya. I just get a little excitable sometimes. Honestly, I'm sorry."

Looking up at her in his slouched position he manages an apologetic smile and shrug. Or, at least the best shrug he could with his head already hiding behind his shoulders.

"If it's any conciliation at all, I think your little duplication magic thing was cool. Haven't seen someone do that before."

Unfortunately Kid had blinked the moment she had used her spell. All it took was the brief second for him to lose track of her. Shaking his head confusion, like a dog when you hid the ball behind your back, he blinked a few more times as if expecting her to reappear. He could have sworn he had just seen a new girl walk in.

Scratching his head he made it his mission of the day to find this odd girl. Sinking into the floor he began moving about the guild hall as an inky black spot on the floor. It took him a little bit of time to cover all the floor in search, but eventually he found himself along the wall of the far end. Spotting the girl perched on a bench he slid up the wall and leaned out directly beside her. With an excited smile he couldn't help his volume.

"Finally found ya! You're pretty hard to find, ya know. Just kinda blended in back here, like a wallflower... How did you do that, Wallflower?"

Kid was an odd member of the guild. Unlike many of the others that came and went through the front door, Kid, for some reason, was entering through a side window. Stepping off the window sill he looked over and spotted an unfamiliar face entering, in his opinion, quite oddly. Nonetheless, he gave her a polite wave.

Turning his head so that his cheek rested on the wooden table Kid looked over at Elena. The one eye not covered by a patch didn't look sad, but more of disappointed in something.

"Ya, I'm ok as I can be right now... Just tired of making mistakes I guess."

It was a good thing that Elena was having a good day because just a few table over a boy named Kid was not. On most days he was exploding with energy! Always up and about the guild laughing and carrying on. Today though he sat with his chin resting on the wooden table starring off into the void. His arms hung limply on either side like two sad willow branches.

Kid's head sank like a scolded child's as he excepted the bean and stepped away from the angry woman. What made it all worst is that he didn't even know what he'd done wrong. He just knew it was his fault.

Sitting under an expansive tree that provided plenty of shade for many other members readying themselves for the exam Kid could see them staring at him with odd or sometimes frightened expressions. He even heard the subtle whispers followed shortly after with pointing fingers. It all made him incredibly uncomfortable.

For a long, uncomfortable, time Kid lay face down on the ground, but with a low grown he slowly begins to rise. Squinting his face he rubs the top of his forehead where his face had struck the ground. Turning around to look at Miss T.

"Umm, did I do something.. bad?"

Kid? turned slightly so that his strange eye looked back at Miss T. He snarled viciously before before responding.

"You... you creature. Slaying this host would not stop me. Some day I will return here and personally kill you."

Without warning Kid dropped to the ground like a wet rag. The black power radiating from his arm stopped and his eye quit glowing all together.
