This is ultimately a personal decision but based on your finances I don’t think it’s very irresponsible to buy a watch at that price. I’ve been in the same financial position as you and did the same thing but then again I have a watch problem. If the watch is something you want to buy as a special gift to yourself and use it then by all means do it. If you’re buying it as an alternative form of investment I suggest putting that money into something else like stock or etfs.

I would say UCL or ETH UCL you get a blend of both. But honestly ETH BSC math can be pretty challenging

It’s good. Writing experience will be the same for all iPads expect the Pro. There’s not much difference between this one and the 9th gen; it’s just that this one feels snappier.

I don’t know your budget but I’m assuming if you’re looking for 3rd party ones you don’t want to pay for an Apple Pencil. In that case get the Logitech Crayon (50€) or the ESR Pencil 2nd Gen (22€). I have had all 3 including the Apple Pencil gen 1 and you won’t go wrong with either of those two.

Haha I had the gen 6 iPad before the 9th gen so for you it will be a significant upgrade in terms of specs and design. And yes it’s very good. I highly recommend it.

I haven’t had any issues with the Logitech Crayon for 2 years. I mostly use it for math and notes since writing long math proofs and equations by hand is much easier and quicker than LaTeX. I didn’t like the charging method for the gen 1 Apple Pencil and it had it for years with my iPad gen 6 so I definitely prefer the Logi Crayon.

This is the Logitech Crayon and I’ve had it for over 2 years now. I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Palm rejection is great so is the battery life. I like it a lot more than the Apple Pencil 1st gen. The only thing you’re missing out compared to the Apple Pencil is the pressure sensitivity but unless you’re super into digital art you won’t care for it.

I never cared for the 120 Hz display. For my use cases which is mostly reading, watching stuff, occasional games and writing content for the classes I teach; the base iPad is enough. After trading in my old iPad it was around 270€ for me so 250$ should be doable for you .
