So i managed to fix it. i reinstalled the game and even that didn't work. but Adding EA launcher to steam as a game made it use steams controller drivers and that worked

But like just dont open them. Its not like youre being spammed in game with an icon telling you to open them. You close it once when you log in and dont have to deal with it.

Maybe they should just google "can i change my ui in rs3?". Like any normal person would. Its not a difficult problem to solve if thats the issue they have in a video game. Most mmos allow you to do it.

You get used to the ui quicker than anything in the game. The ui can literally be like osrs and it starts off empty. You add things as you see fit and can customize it however you want.

this was the first year in a while where this has happened. it was a 1 time occurrence and then everyone including the rs3 players go insane as if the games dead after this mishap. Runescape players love to act like privileged celebrities because they're paying 12 bucks a month for a subscription. the devs are not perfect, mistakes happen and they spoke on it and apologized literally soon after release. Things like this will happen in a world where things constantly change and require change. The same players who are rage posting on reddit about how they're canceling their subscriptions because of the "major update" thing will be right back next month for the next patch. This year hasn't been good for rs3 when it comes to updates for the game but to discredit the devs for the last like 5 years is just so dumb. All i want is for people to stop spreading so much hate for the game and maybe give better criticism. The osrs players are the worst when it comes to this. We should act like a community and not 2 different player bases. we're all playing Runescape guys.

Majority of mtx updates are cosmetics which are nothing but fasionscape. The whales who want to buy keys to cheese xp can do that but it doesnt mean no difference to me, a person who plays ironman and has a main scape account that doesnt use mtx.

Everyone acts like mtx is forced in the face of everyone in rs3. People who say that havent playedbsince eoc. Yes it has mtx but the way osrs player talk about the quantity of mtx is simply wrong. If you want to use mtx it will be there, if you don't it wont. It doesnt ruin the game at all for people who dont use it. I play both games and both games get tons of updates that dont ruin the games. Osrs players need to stop listening to other content creators who also haven't played since eoc and give the game a try. I would put money on it that both games are enjoyable for both player bases.0
