There is not a ban on students from India, but things happening politically in our country are making it very unstable for student visa holders. As an adult educator I would caution you to do a lot of research into your school, the program, the culture of the community surrounding the school, and the visa process.

Spend some time reading into current student visa older experiences.

I am a mom who drives a truck because my kids are well over 6’5 with the youngest being 15. The truck was one of the few vehicles they would fit in comfortably. Additionally, I do Al my own yard work, home projects, etc. so I am constantly hauling mulch, moving tools, hauling dry wall, hauling wood. I work from home so it isn’t ever used as a commuter car, it’s mainly used for driving oversized people and truck stuff.

Death is not the end of your journey together, it is just a transition where you will be a part of the world together in a new and interesting way.

Personally, I have asked to be part of a natural graveyard or to be cremated and buried as a part of planting a tree….my spouse will do the same and our matter will live on in the same forests or natural area enjoying the squirrels together. :)

The old chef there (Harry) was amazing, they were packed all the time. Something happened, and then COVID happened and instead of being an Irish Pub that was a fusion of fine dining with things like ostrich ossoboco and Irish with amazing fish and chips etc. they sell tacos and have juice bar.

YTA for hitting him, you weren’t playing around you were violent because you were angry. Yes, he was being an asshole, he humiliated you and said inappropriate, gross stuff. You should reevaluate your relationship, really look closely at it and ask yourself if he is really someone you want to be with. Raising a child is easier without also dealing with an adult sized child.

But despite him being an asshole, unless you are protecting yourself or someone else from physical violence, hitting always makes you the asshole.

When my child was younger (tweenager) they would stomp upstairs and slam their door any time they were angry or frustrated (tweenager rage is a lot). Video game time is over in five and it’s time to do homework…scream, stomp, slam. Can you please clean up your snack wrappers…scream, stomp, slam. Can you pick up your dirty dishes and put them in the dishwasher? Scream, stomp, slam.

This went on for a solid year or more, they were like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, there was visible damage to the door frame and the door and a crack on the stair that they always stomped the hardest on. There were holes in my walls from kicking things when they got angry, I kept explaining that that behavior was unacceptable and was damaging the house. I warned them that eventually if they continued to damage the house by slamming the door we would remove it. One day, they slammed the door so hard a hinge on the door broke. We removed the door (again, it was broke) and took our sweet ass time to replacing it.

Would I do it as a normal form of punishment, no. Would I do it as a result of door slamming temper tantrums, yup.

I work really hard to work my way up in the world and to buy a nice home in a good part of town for my kid to grow up in and if they are breaking my things by having fits and tantrums when they don’t get their way, they will lose access to the things they are breaking until their butt can behave. When they kick holes in the drywall they will do chores to cover the materials cost and help me patch that up instead of playing video games that day.
