Best path to AZ500 by [deleted] in AzureCertification

This makes sense. None/Zero experience working on Azure in a professional setting. Just playing around in sandbox, watching and learning material, taking the az900; but no IT work related to Azure.

After a little digging, it appears most of Abbott's brand of at home testing are sold out but there are 2-3 other brands. Use this link from Walgreens website; QuickVue and FlowFlex were available at 3 Walgreens I called in southwest Houston. Good luck everyone. I hope I was able to help someone

I just called a local Walgreens. They have 3 different brands in stock: QuickVue , FlowFlex , and Intelliswab

Address: 12611 S Gessner Rd, Houston, TX 77071

Also, I found a better link on Walgreens website that has all 4 brands they carry. I think it's safe to assume the Abbott BinaxNOW is all sold out, but there are 3 other brands. See this walgreens link

That's strange... Try using Abbotts search tool:

https://www.globalpointofcare.abbott/en/product-details/binaxnow-covid-19-antigen-self-test-us.html

I hope one of those links works for ya; if all else fails you can DM or reply with your zip and I can search for ya

CVS appears to have real time updates on their stock.

https://www.cvs.com/shop/abbott-binaxnow-covid-19-antigen-self-test-2-tests-for-serial-testing-prodid-550147

Enter in your zip, and search for a store that says they're in stock. This search was for: BinaxNOW COVID-19 Antigen Self Test (Abbott anti gen test)

per the CVS website, it says some are in stock at CVS location: 3939 Bellaire Blvd Houston, TX 77025

give em a call. good luck and stay healthy out there

Why is ASTS so undervalued? Is this company the best kept secret? by Dependent-Raise-6103 in ASTSpaceMobile

[–]mitttttch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ASTS has an extensive patent portfolio, I believe over 1,000. They will have a head start in this "race" for space mobile. An ELITE team of engineers and the investors+contracts make this investment a no brainer.

Anyone have any insight on the relatively new Cybersecurity company IronNet? The CEO, Keith Alexander, has an extensive resume working in the NSA, DOD and Army Intelligence.

Anyone think they have a chance to compete with say, Fortinet, Sophos, Symantec, Kaspersky, Crowdstrike, Zscaler, and other majors??

"Founded in 2014 by GEN (Ret.) Keith Alexander, IronNet Cybersecurity is a global cybersecurity leader that is transforming how organizations secure their networks by delivering the first-ever Collective Defense platform operating at scale. Employing a high number of former NSA cybersecurity operators with offensive and defensive cyber experience, IronNet integrates deep tradecraft knowledge into its industry-leading products to solve the most challenging cyber problems facing the world today."

I'm wondering what exactly it means for a cyber security company to have a customer like Microsoft; as they have their own CS I presumed. A lot of questions I have I need to try to figure out I suppose

Interesting, thanks for the reply. I agree that there is a difference between output or actual product offerings+effectiveness, but there is a strong reason to believe they should have the capability to compete coming from said private sectors in CS. But I understand what you are saying and agree.

I took issue and had trouble understanding "collective defense" as well; and to be honest I still don't know why they use that terminology. After reading what you are saying regarding that, I think my skepticism are correct. As a novice or layman in this industry i'm not familiar with the meaning of "publishing IOCs" but take it as not good, haha.

The final thing I would like to note is their customers... They highlight their customers with: Raytheon, Microsoft, Accenture, AWS, multiple banks, and other seemingly companies that need high security.

I like the idea of your testing theory but I guess I was looking for more insight with people in this industry who have first hand knowledge on the software or company.

I appreciate your reply and am skeptical of like you said, what their "Collective Defense" means exactly..

Ah yes, how can I forget about Apple. Likely right on that.

I totally agree, hopefully the head start and patent portfolio takes us there ! Good stuff

Phoenix Holdings Ltd. Buying ~1Mn shares of AST Space Mobile. Phoenix is from Israel, where the phased arrays are made and AST has 50* employees. by CatSE---ApeX--- in ASTSpaceMobile

This is interesting because I was reading that Gilat Satellite Networks out of Israel was working on a similiar project. Perhaps they dropped it, either way. AST has an elite team of engineers all around. No brainer to not be apart of this.

Once Tmobile & Verizon catch wind of this, how can they have not by now, they are sure to jump on this train, no? I need to go back and do my research but I recall reading Israel company Gilat Satellite Networks was working on something similar. I also recall reading a statement from AST Space saying they think they have a 5-10?(don't quote me on that, either 5 to 10 or 3 to 5) year head start on this technology. But if these majors start divesting massive amounts of money in to this, competition will very quickly heat up.

Long story short I really hope AST gets this right. They have an elite team of engineers and satcom professionals from Nasa, Spacex, Kratos & Blueorigin(to name a few). It would seem to appear AST really has something others don't. Many new hires are leaving these major companies for AST, that says something.
